A man went into Walmart and took a netbook computer out of the package and put it under his shirt. The man tried to leave Walmart after this process. He was then confronted by one of the employees that worked at Walmart. The man was also taken to the nearby office. They were then joined by another employee of Walmart. Once in the office the man that was trying to steal the netbook computer pulled out a loaded gun. The man also ran towards the office door and grabbed ahold of one of the employees. The employee had a gun shoved in his back and couldn't move. Walmart has a policy that if there is a gun to be pulled or threatened the employees are to disengage theirselves from the situation to a safe postion. One of the employees had took the gun from the man shoplifting. The four employees that had took the gun from the man to save other peoples lives that were in Walmart had all got fired for what they did.
I think that it is unfair that the employees had got fired when they were just trying to save other peoples lives. The employees were trying to protect the customers in their store. I don't think that they should have got fired over this because if they wouldn't have took the gun and let the man walk out of the store they probably would have got fired because they let him shoplift. The employees weren't putting anyones life in danger, if anything they were trying to help save other peoples life so they weren't in risk. It was a very unfair situtation for the four employees to be in. I don't think that they should be fired. I also think that they employees that got fired should be allowed to keep their jobs since they were trying to save the other customers lives.
